The Peace that stays

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you, I do not give to you as the world gives, Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid . John 14:27

Finding peace in this hectic lives is difficult. After 8 hours of work we go home eat, sleep then wake up and go to work. This is the routine. Seems nothing can stop us with this way of life because we crave for Financial security, Job security, relations security and other securities to make peace with our self (to stop worrying for tomorrow).  Sometimes we stop for a while and be in vacation, but after it, peace is not staying with us. That peace seems so elusive. Its elusive, temporary, intractable because we find peace in the wrong place, the physical world.

God is inviting us to find peace in Him, the true eternal peace. We must put trust(faith) in God. Even if the environment around us is chaotic and doesn't give comfort,  we can still find peace with God within us. We may not please others and don't find peace with them but there is still peace within us. The peace that God offers is a peace that stays forever.

Do not worry

People today is governed and bothered by material things they need and want. Thus putting God the second priority.

A life that serves the material world is restless and unhappy. Fortunately we can live a life with happiness through our Lord Jesus Christ, our savior.

Jesus Christ teaches us the right thing to do. Living first a life with God.

Matthew 6:25-28,32,33

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air, they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.

For the pagans run after all these things, and your Heavenly Father knows that you need them. but seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
