Parables

The Parable of the Persistent Widow
Luke 18:1-8

Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.He said: “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared what people thought.  And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justice against my adversary.’

“For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, Even though I don't fear God or care what people think, 5 yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won't eventually come and attack me!’”

And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”

***God is a loving that He always listens to us. Most of the time He has greater plans for us, greater than our prayers, that's why we say God didn't listen.

The Seed Growing Secretly
Mark 4:26-29

And he said, "The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed upon the ground,  and should sleep and rise night and day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he knows not how. The earth produces of itself, first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear. But when the grain is ripe, at once he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come."

***The word of God is so mighty that from his words a man can be changed from evil to good. A transformation or conversion starts small, it takes time. Man may not realize his growth as Christian and God is working in his life. We must recognize God's words through the Holy Bible for us to let God work in our life. And we should carry the word of God by our hearts as we continue the journey.
